Bought some superthick Thinsulate-gloves which has little to no dexterity. Ended up only using them as extra gloves to warm my hands while not doing anything in camp. Totally useless - and not as warm as they should and could be concidering how thick they are.
Bought some half-stiff Salomon hikingboots half a size to small just because they were really cheap and looked cooler than the other alternatives. Using them is not torture on my feet, but it's far from optimal. Dumbest investment ever, I even knew it was wrong when I bought them. Stupid. Should have bought the ugly Asolo-boots that fit me.
