I'd figure /out/ might know more about this than /asp/.

I want a good mountain bike, I'm a beginner and have a $350 dollar budget.

I saw some unknown brand mountain bikes for 150 at some Mexican mall, but at sports Chalet I saw a diamondback for $300 (seemed pretty cheap price wise, unfortunately I don't remember the model)

What say you guys? What should I get? It should be able to run on dirt trails with the occasional grass, bumps, and rocks.
