But a lot of my best shots have been with my smaller P&S camera. Hell, I've even got a couple of good shots out of my cameraphone.
The best camera is the one you have with you, and being able to identify/compose a shot with that camera is what makes a good photo.
A camera is a tool. Having an expensive camera doesn't magically make you a better photographer.
