This kid on my Facebook got a mora and he thinks it's the coolest thing ever.

He tied a bunch of paracord on the sheath and lashed a ferro rod onto it.

you're using that term pretty loosely.

they're popular because they're a pretty good deal from a cost/quality standpoint. they're by no means the best knife out there, but for $15-$20 you get much better quality than many knives in the $30-$40 range.

also, autists think they're the best because their favorite youtube outdoorsman said so

Hey there. I agree, I'm new here and have been recommended Mora for an alright basic tool on the cheap. I bought one, and have seen good actual use and abuse reviews about them. If anyone can provide truth about them being shitty, post it, I'd like to see.

He ended up taking the ferro rod off when I told him how it looked. He wants to incorporate paracord into literally EVERYTHING he does. I tried telling him he only needs ten feet to make a shelter and that a bracelet and keychain would be enough (for bonus points I had him replace his bootlaces with paracord).
