But I'd say this thread is more of a "what if" scenario, what would you take.
I'd probably take either a 10/22 as others have suggested, or perhaps a 12 gauge. I have a Mossberg Silver Reserve ii, and I'd say that has become my go to firearm when I go /out/, a full choke, and has yielded me rabbit and turkey without fail. You can carry multiple loads with you for different game. Buying a .22 lr adapter has been something I've been considering for a while.
