At this moment, things slowed down a little. I thought for a moment, should I jump over it? Go around it? Turn around and run? I decided to run.
But all the men with guns were off a ways at the trap. There's a bunch of trees in the way, they can't see this. I need to get their attention while I run to them

Also, the green dot is a random deer feeder in its own enclosure.

I got one sort of

Turns out he was some hunter who's ATV broke down after he finished gutting a deer. He said he'd been walking for around 6 hours after getting lost, since not only did he not bring a GPS unit or cellphone, he didn't bring a tent or food or anything. Gave him some water and food and amazingly cellphone reception was good enough that we were able to text somebody's parents and have them call the rangers to come and pick him up.

That sounds like a lot of fun. I think the best experience I had was when I was camping alone, and a wolf came to my camp with an arrow sticking out of it's right front leg. I cleaned the wound and took out the arrow. The wolf slept near me and when I woke up it was gone. Sometimes, right before I'm about to fall asleep, I think of that wolf.

Also generally the more painful the suicide the more honourable.

Those old people that were outside on their room balcony, I will never forget the faces they made when they saw a bunch of dirty, muddy, bleeding manchildren emerging from the brush, celebrating like idiots, casually walking through their driveway and past the security gate.
