An Evening Moto

No.483533 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Sup /out/. I need some helmet time, so I'm going riding tonight.

Rented a kickass lens (Nikon 70-200 2.8) for a snowmobile race that got cancelled. Since I don't race in that circuit, I get a media pass and shoot the event.
Lens will go back in a couple days, get me some store credit back for next year's race (rented it for the whole week, obviously won't be needing it that long).
But since I have it, I might as well get some shots through it.

Moto's running well. It could use a new set of tires, but they're good enough for now (not going to be doing any super-technical riding, not with $4k in camera gear on my back).

There's an area about an hour from my house that I'm pretty sure will be mostly snow-free. If it's not, I doubt there's enough snow to prevent me from making my way through or finding an alternate route (roads/trails spider out all over the place).
This area has a bunch of old mines, some structures are still standing, some I can gain access into.

tl;dr: I've got a kickass long lens on my camera and a street-legal dirt bike. What should I take pics of? I'll probably depart in a few hours.
