I might become homeless soon. (In the USA)
By homeless, I mean without a home or a car and not much money.
It would be for around 3 months and would include time in the city and traveling too.
Is there anything I should know while I still have a computer?

OP standard advice applies. Learn good food dumpsters and use a gym or college campus to shower. Don't look homeless. You can collect cans for a bit of cash or even sell stuff you trashpick at consignment stores. Use a PO box as an address, you can write the po box as if it were an ordinary apartment address. So instead of 123 anon ave po box 8, write as #8 - 123 anon ave. This way you can apply for library card, bank account, or jobs and still have a address. Use internet or uni campus for internet. Have a plan for charging devices. Tablet plus smart phone plus 10000 mah battery bank will keep you connected for a long time between charges.

I've already started to note recycling centers on a map.

There should be a wheeler mission that will feed you, believe me they feed you good it's just a pitiful site to see all the broken people in there. Believe it or not your local hospital can provide ALL this information. Mutiple places to eat each day of the week, places to sleep, all that shit.

Don't let school work slack it's going to be the only thing keeping you holding on to dear humanity.

Also while homelessness is a make you or break you experience. The rush of living day to day just to survive and not on comfort is something that won't ever leave you.

You'll miss it but won't ever want to experience it again.
Also be lucky that spring is coming up my nigga or you wouldn't have lasted through winter.

Forced labor. Make them work for their help, And if they can't work for it they get nothing.

The people who are just on hard times would get back on their feet, And the mentally insane or crippled would just fade out of existence which they should. They add nothing to society and shouldn't be coddled.

All help to the homeless should be done by free enterprise, Not on a state or federal level.

The homeless are a fucking plague. My local government is dumping hundreds of thousands of dollars into remodeling and improving a local park, which is infuriating because the park is primarily a place for the homeless to sleep and do drugs. Bonus points because they leave used needles lying around constantly. Never mind the fact that they piss, shit and litter everywhere while making any public area shitty to be in because you can't do anything without some homeless fucker asking for money or cigarettes.

That's always been a thing, even in countries with good healthcare. What I mean is that I'm seeing more and more NEETs with no option but to become homeless, with no work prospects. Probably the last time this happened was the great depression and earlier when waves of hobos travelled the lands.

Actually, I lived in my van for a while for fun, too. I also hitchhiked across the country last year and I'm going again this year. I brought a bit of money and made it last and I never had to beg or anything like that. It was really easy for me, personally, but how easy anything is depends on the kind of person you are. That worked well in previous generations, it doesn't work quite so well now. People starting on the ground floor don't have the kind of opportunities for advancement that those in the 90s did. I don't say this to denigrate your accomplishments or imply that your life was not difficult, but what worked back in then is not going to give the same results to people who are in a similar situation to what you went through when you were young
