Hello,
I just bought this book because I have a lot of experience on the subject and I was hoping it might give me a new perspective on certain techniques. I was curious if anybody has suggestions for /out/ related materials? Also links to torrents would be super duper.

It's more about observing natural clues beyond the rivers and the sun. Like plant formation and tree density and shit like that. And like finding your way by moonlight by skimming the surface of plants.

I'm looking for some good books on fungi, not the botanical side but more of a horticultural approach to it. Any recommendations?

Wut?

If you mean growing mushrooms, Paul Stamets' books are your best bet (e.g.: Growing Gourmet and Medicinal Mushrooms). You can find everything you need online, but his books provide a good introduction in a clear and logical manner.

I meant horticulture and botany are related to plants, not fungi.

Pick up that Paul Stamets book, it's a good read and is the magic mushroom growing handguide for many people (although he writes it for cultivation of other mushrooms).

He's pretty flaky and a bit hypocritical in some respects, but I'd still recommend getting his book Mycelium Running. He is a good popular writer.

Check out the Peterson guides. They have field guides specifically for medicinal plants depending on what region your looking for.

I gained a lot from this. I get so many pelts and so much food it's unreal. Selling pelts make a pretty decent supplementary income as well. Hell, even a squirrel pelt is like $9, deer is over $100 if you find the right buyer.
