In one of the last episodes he had a Doan Machinery magnesium block/ferro rod firestarter, a tampon and a lipstick, and some kerosine wood, he didn't know how to use the firestarter and actually called it a "Magnesium rod".
He had no idea how to shave off the magnesium into a pile, he scattered it all over the place. He scraped the ferro insert fucking 18 times and still didn't manage to light the magnesium shavings.
