The crazy part was the bats flying right by our faces. What I didn't expect was for them to fly right into our faces sometimes. Not really sure why that happens I was under the impression echolocation was better than that.

As someone that does cave rescue, I will kindly ask anyone thinking about just walking into a cave with their friends with a flashlight to please not do that. There is absolutely nothing more arduous on this green earth than pulling out some hypothermic shitlord that ended up falling down a pit and breaking a leg.
