That statement is your problem right there. Their actual quote was that they saw SOMETHING carrying SOMETHING. The Key family did not describe it in detail at all. YOU said it was a child, not them. YOU are making baseless assumptions.
Where did the child go? Who the fucks knows man. There are literally 100's of scenarios that could have happened to that kid that deep in the wilderness. I admit it's very strange, but doesn't mean its an intelligent man like creature living amongst us that we have never seen.
