2 easy reachable destinations in Europe that have a week of nature inbetween them

No.491058 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Hey, I'm looking for two destinations in Europe that are reachable by public transport and have a solid week or more of walkable nature inbetween them.

Example:
Scotland; Ullapool and Fort William
>Both Ullapool and Fort William can be reached within a day when you start in Glasgow
>you only cross about 3 roads during the bulk of that hike and that's all signs of civilization you see
>pretty much straight forward walk despite complete lack of hiking trails and absolutely gorgeous landscape
>only barriers (swamps, lochs and steep gradients) can be dodged easily
>walk doesn't have to be planned, you can just begin at either destination and walk straight south/north using a compass (would recommend GPS though)
>~250km
>took me 8 days
