>>491945>They practically the same dogNah, they are really different. GSPs are long-ranging dogs with better noses and more drive, more muscular and generally 'tougher', more stubborn and consequently harder to train, more aloof with strangers etc.
My GSP is a machine. She's 53 lbs and I'm 175 lbs and we'll go skijoring for 15 miles and she will still be up for fun.
I like Vizslas, but I prefer the drive and personality of GSPs. But Vizslas are one of the easier pointers, which is why I've seen lots more in the city over the last few years (versus GSPs).
