Gonna be going on a trip to some state land or something sometime soon to go innawoods but with a twist.

Girlfriends.

Me and my buddy go out and normally just sleep on piles of sticks and cedar under handmade shelters and rain ponchos because that's what we have the most fun doing. Ladyfriend is interested in camping and hiking and pretty outdoorsy but without experience really camping. She wouldn't be exactly opposed to "roughing it" but I just want this trip to more "comfy". Also my buddy's girlfriend is kind of city slicker extreme.

I don't even own a tent and my backpack isnt suitable for carrying much in the way of heavy shit anyways. I need a tent to sleep two and probably a better backpack (also earth tones please)

Anyways I need to know how to make things more comfy without taking a car full of shit out.
