>>496173Ever consider that a thin tip actually is more useful for some tasks, a folding knife is not meant for super heavy use, and the Para is, while totally tactically capable, an edc knife primarily, mine has never had any issues with the tip or anything for that matter, S30V is not the "Super Steel" some people make it out to be, but it is also much cheaper than a truly top of the line steel like 3V, M4, S110V, etc. and really the PM2 is not all that overpriced.
If you are going to really use it and not just cut some tape with it once a month and stick it on a shelf, no reason not to get it if it is something you are into, I have spent much more on knives than on my PM2, and in almost every case you get what you pay for, whether high or low.
