I was biking around an old quarry and decided to do a jump off a wayyy too tall slag heap.
As I aired, I went over the handlebars and landed on my face. Thankfully, I was wearing my helmet, but I was still knocked unconscious for about 10 seconds.
I broke both my wrists and snapped my collar bone. It was a damn time living with two casts on.

I was bouldering a small section of the escarpment that runs through my city and I trusted my weight to a ledge that decided it didn't want to hold me up. It was a short fall, only about two and a half body lengths but there was a long and steep hill leading up to the area I was climbing. I rolled all the fucking way down it, through trees and rocks and other shit.

Suprisingly I was unharmed aside from a few brusies and minor cuts.

Rolling from a fall is a pretty good thing, since it keeps most of your momentum so that there isn't much of an impact to cause damage. As long as you come to a stop slowly, you're not going to be inflicted with much.

Realized pretty quick after that though.

Still got off better than my buddy. He was zooming through a wooded bit and flew off his bike through the air and smashed his back into a tree.

Sprained wrist (thought it was broken), mountian biking. Re-injured it a month later mountain biking, never healed quite right the second time.
Stabbed in calf with chainring teeth while mountain biking.
Several bad cuts to left knee climbing trees (and mountain biking).
Slight fracture to elbow.
Hit self in head with hammer while dismantling a tree fort as a kid (well, it was outside).

1 - IED in Afghanistan, M19 hit me in the head, caused TBI

3 - Same IED in Afghanistan cracked my spine. Secondary degeneration.
4 - Same IED, something cut my leg, I don't know what the fuck
5 - Fell down a hill... Was back home. Cut my fingers on the rock I was trying to grab for support.
6 - M2 got dropped on my hand once, there's residual nerve damage.
7 - Had full inversion in Jump School, fucked my PLF and hurt my knee. Still made it, though!
8 - I don't remember wtf happened to my toe but it's fucked.

Was in an outdoor sustainability program in high school, climbing a grassy hill in a light rain while carrying a pitch fork, points down. I slipped in the wet grass and hit my foot with the fork. There's no pain and a quick check with my finger revealed no blood. Tis but a scratch. Half an hour later during a lecture on environmental science my shoe is overflowing with blood. Sent straight to hospital. Apparently I ran my foot clean through.

Later that year I went for a walk on the swamp trail and was mobbed by enough mosquitos to block your vision, like a whiteout in a heavy snowstorm.

I also tore a lat climbing trap rock cliff and became rim rocked. Somebody had to get a harness and some ropes and give me an impromptu lesson in rappelling if I didn't want to end up getting airlifted.

Not even going to bother with the template. Too many injuries to even remember them all.
Broken my tailbone, 2 ribs, two fingers, one cervical vertebrae. Tore the cartilage in both knees. Sprained my back, both ankles, both knees, and both shoulders, sometimes multiple times. Dislocated a hip, fingers, and two toes. Multiple 1st and second degree burns. Scraped the skin off my left shin. Cuts and lacerations too numerous to count but two of them were from blunt impact and contacted bone.

I jumped down from something that was steeper than I expected and both of them twisted outwards. I was in high school when that happened, and my mom wouldn't buy a wheelchair so I had to crawl around the house when nobody was home which was extremely fucking painful while I was in splints. Eventually I got casts and at school, they lent me a wheelchair though.

eh, i don't think so thankfully. I'm 38 now so i reckon I'd have noticed by now. dodged a bullet i guess. but if I deliberately poke in there when the muscles are relaxed, it's an unpleasant sensation, like my body saying "back off."

This is after they straightened it out. It was at a pretty severe angle initially. A brace that I wore for several months straightened it a little more, but it ended up healing at about a six degree angle.

The river one was really my fault. We were building a dam out of rocks in a river known for it's current, to make a safe little spot for some kids to play in, and I got too close to the end. Swept me right away.

Broke my thumb with a sledgehammer. We had a wedge in a pretty stubborn log, and my sister decided to hit it while my thumb was nearby. Wasn't pretty.

Numbered in order of most painful.

1 - Fire-breathing gone wrong. Been doing it for over 5 years and never had any incidents. Just happened to have a big gust of wind blow back into my face as I started to blow, igniting the fuel still in my mouth. All 1st and some 2nd degree burns. Lucky no lung damage. Nose and throat closed up, eyes were saved by contact lenses. Spent a few days in the hospital. Most intense pain I've ever felt in my life, and fear. I couldn't breathe, thought my lungs were burnt and that I would die. Blinding pain. Never again.

2 - Hit a rock cliff jumping. My one leg went underneath me, the other one went out to the side. So all my weight hit either my shin, or my ass cheek on the opposite side. Fractured my tibia and could have broken my tail bone and spine if not for my well muscled glutes (which were deeply bruised). Had to hike out 8 miles with the tibia broken. Made a splint with a shirt and limped out with a walking stick. The pain wasn't that bad until the next day.. Walked trail on crutches all fucking summer. The warmest 3 months of the year.

3 - Camping- grabbed the top of a lantern square center the middle of my palm. It had been on for hours, but somebody put it out and I thought it was the other unused one. Should have checked first. Burnt my entire palm, and the bases of all my fingers. Only injury that I actually cried for. (When I burnt my face I was in too much panic, must have gone into shock.) Shit was awful for days, couldn't even use my hand. At least it was the left one.

4 - Slipped on a rock in a river, split my foot at the big toe, which also got smashed. Mostly bled a lot and hurt to walk. Shocks up the spine.

5 - Fell pushing a wheelbarrow down a wet grassy hill. Proceeded to dig my arm into the metal wheelbarrow handle, went down to the bone.

6 - various places I've found ticks..

And generally just lots of scratches all over. I do a lot of off trail stuff. Prickers bushes gonna get ya.

Story of the burns. We were camping on a normal, respectable campsite when along came a gang and poured petrol over our tent, set it alight then ran off.

Thankfully I slept with my knife nearby so I cut my way out and my gf was at a nearby hotel after she caught hypothermia.
