Only problem is they need a really large living space because they grow to several feet.
And they eat live mice. They burst out of the ground (they inspired the tremor movie) and wrap around the mouse, then drag it down to it's worm hut below ground level.
If I don't get one of those, I might settle for a Brazilian mountain worm. Those are more tame and placid too.
