Hey fellas,
I've been living pretty close the the Chesapeake for awhile now and can't help but browse craigslist for cheap boats. I've always had a desire to go sailing and know a bit about it, but not enough to pull off what I'd like.
Basically I want to get a boat for a stupid cheap amount (Like sub 500 bucks) They're available, not always pretty, but you can literally go sailing for under a grand.
The issue? What the fuck do I do with it afterwards? Is there a way to just ditch it, donate it, or what? I don't want to just abandon a boat for the obvious safety and environment issues, but a slip is way more expensive than I can afford. Anyone have any experience with this?
