Ok, it has been a good year and a half since I became interested in survival, not once have I planned to stay out in the woods, never had time, didn't think I knew enough. But now I have found the perfect location using google maps, I want to pull a one nighter. IK i can do it, but i wanna try it without a shelter, like a tent or hammock, im going to build a primitive shelter, how hard do you think for a first night this is, if i need to I can abort mission and go home. also this is a solo night. next time im going to try 2 days and see how it goes. should I bring a tent, or a sleeping bag, im thinking i will bring a sleeping bag but not a tent. Also what are some essentials to bring, I will bring a knife flashlight, my cellphone, extra clothes my mini survival kit, some meat to cook.
