I'm looking to pick up a semi-decent pack for 2-3 day trips, preferably something I could also take with me when I travel overseas.

I can pick up this sleek bitch for $160, can you recommend anything better for the price?

High Sierra has a pretty damn decent 45 for $65. Im forgetting the exact name. Its in the clymb. Look at the dark gray and yellow combo. Its smooth.

I have the grey yellow one in 65L, excellent pack.

The north face packs looks sleek, all packs do though in pics, in reality most have a ton of straps dancing everywhere, so you have good compression/tie down areas. My pack in pics looks sleep, less so In person . I've tried several north face ones on, they don't seem worth the $ to me.

My high sierra pack was half the cost of that north face.

if you can get this pack under $200 it'd be an amazing deal.

most people on here will just tell you that arc'teryx is way too overpriced for what it is, but what they never mention is how everything they sell is made in canada by a full grown adult white person and not an 8 year old gook

Have I had other jackets and gear that I've worn and used on a regular basis for at least that amount of time? Yes. But Amerifat sizing on shit that's made overseas has made brands like North Face/Columbia/Patagonia pretty much unwearable. The sleeve length and overall length on size M in those brands fits, but the width of these things makes it to wear it looks like I'm wearing a fucking parachute. The arc'teryx is sized perfectly however and I'll probably be a customer for life.

Not trying to shill up this thread that's actually about packs but just stating my personal experience with the brand.
