So I'm just getting into backpacking. I grew up tent camping, and my family has all migrated to RVs. I myself have a newer travel trailer. They're a ton of fun but very disconnected from nature. a few of my friends and family (who also own RVs) are starting to back pack. Just assembled all my gear and went on a 3 mile trek the other day across our property (Family farm in northern Pennsylvania, about 600 acres). Just wanted to see how my pack fit and felt, and wanted to try some stuff out. Just wanted to share a few pictures.

There's a Gerber BG compact parang on my pack, yes I know. It was a gift f9r being a groomsman in a wedding and I'm going to beat it up till it fails.
