But the original (not the light weight) seems to work well enough and he says that, but it is pretty cheaply made, especially for what it costs. His comments don't reflect that, and frankly I have no idea why the fiskar was in the video at all beyond just to say it sucks. And I guess luckily it smacked the woman in the face but that seems like her fault if it wasn't somehow staged.

It'd be interesting to see a custom handforged Swedish steel on a hand carved hickory handle and all that heritage bullshit made for him and his thoughts on that

its niche gear/gadget market that has gone waaaaaay too far.
Im fine with traditional Multi-tools like the standard Swiss Army Knives and most of the traditional Leatherman stuff.
All this other crap is straight up ridiculous.

My favorite for Every day use is the Original Leatherman Juice S2. You can actually carry it in a pocket and its only has tools I actually use almost everyday

Dad gave me one of these (not same brand). It's a bit of blade folded in plastic. Looks flimsy and cost less than a dollar. Probably of Chinese origin.

Also game me a credit card sized lamp. Like this only square instead of bulb shaped.

You know that Stainless Steel, does have carbon in it, the reason why it is classified as stainless, is due to the % of Chromium in it. A lot of SS blades will have from 0.40 to as much as 1.20 Carbon in it. Which is not a lot, that right there is enough to be considered high carbon. The Chromium is a lot of Stainless Steels, is like 15-18% which categorize it as stainless steel. Which I believe is 13% plus needed to be considered that.

Now if you look at 1095. It has a carbon rating of like 1.0 ish, it does not have Chromium or Vanadium in it. It is why is it so prone to rusting, just considered a high carbon steel.

Now 1095 CroVan Is pretty much 1095 high carbon steel, has a very small amount of Chromium and Vanadium. Like .50ish % to help prevent rust, not enough for it to be considered Stainless at all.

Fucking A, I just rambled on. In the end, there is high carbon stainless steel, the knife just needs a certain amount of Chromium in it, for it to be considered SS. That SS just needs a certain amount of Carbon to be considered High Carbon SS.
