Canada is 89% crown land. You can camp on crown land as long as you don't litter and move your tent every 21 days.

Here's my formula.

1.Google earth
2. Find area away from people
3. Find a nice lake or series of lakes
4. Put canoe on top of truck, gf inside of truck
5. Love my life for 1-2 weeks

We're actually usually 20-30km away from the truck. but she's a nurse, so if she could stabilize me she could go get help.
prolly get a cool ass heli ride about 18 hours later.

Or get eaten by a bear in 15 minutes

canoeing it's not bad, going back to the truck you don't need much by way of supplies.

we do around 20km in 12hours, give or take
