OK, so there are a lot of knives on the market. Ones with thrills and frills and all that.
However, what is the best all out /out/ knife?
personally, this knife is perfect imo. The only one on the BG line that I would approve of - if you wrap/mod it right. The drop point is sharpened. The wrap is a 2-layer para-cord style. The tip isn't thin - very wide. Unlike other knives and para-cord knives, it has a WIDE tip. So f-ing stable I can hack at most wood up to 3 inch diam. I can pile drive this **it into a log (maybe only 6-7 inch then I need the axe) and use it to split wood.
I've seen other knives; seen how thin the tip is, wonder if they last in /out/ conditions and decide not to buy. However, I've never heard reviews of really survival use on other knives. Is it worth it to upgrade? Suggestions? Experiences?
