I'm in Fairbanks, planning to go out on the Stampede Trail. I was hoping you guys could help me get myself outfitted with what I'll need.

I'm a desert dweller generally, so I'll probably take it slow until I find if I'm comfortable on the bush. It's only 22 miles in but I'm planning on 3 or 4 days, though I could do it in 2.

I have:
>solid base layer
>breathable, waterproof jacket
>good shoes and socks
>good backpack with camelback
>hammock with mosquito net

What I know that I need:
>gps
>hatchet
>cook kit
>firestarters and fire kit
>good watch

What else do I need and any suggestions on what would work for me out here and as a part of my outdoor gear permanently?
