Any cycle touring bros around? Wild camped Lands End to John O'Groats last summer in 9 days, feel inspired to go embark on another journey this summer, thinking London -> Budapest.

What're the best tours you've done/would recommend?

How was Land's End - John O'Groats? I've always fancied doing something like that but UK cycling infrastructure is so shitty I'm scared of getting run over by a bus or just ending up miserable due to our crap weather.

A guy I know has told me Corsica is amazing for cyclists. He also recommended Almeria to Marseille along the Spanish coast.

I bike to my workplace when the season allows it, a trip of about 25 km each way, and I love it. I've always dreamt about bike touring Europe and/or Asia, I hope to save up some money during university the next three years and go for it.

Also check out a book called Cycling Home from Siberia. British guy who started off i far north-eastern Siberia and cycled home to England, through places like Papua New Guinea, Tibet and Afghanistan. Pretty inspiring.

the logical route would be through poland, lithuania, finland, sweden and denmark

He did it for the adventure. And who's shit at navigating? Going Poland - Lithuania - Finland - Sweden - Denmark means going in a circle, starting nowhere near Siberia and ending up in Germany.

fuck off, there is plenty to be seen in between siberia and england without flying off to little islands to ride your bike around for no fucking reson.
I bet he thinks hes really fucking eco friendly and in touch with nature, on his cromoly and aluminium and fibreglass bike, what a cant

wouldn't have been suprised if i'd died on the A442 in Telford, definitely avoid,it's like cycling down a motorway

Cycled Berlin to baltic coast (Polish border), then all the way down the coast to Lübeck, short hop to Hamburg and then did some urban cycling there.
It's flat, eastern Germany is sparesly populated, and the beer is good and cheap, but better bring your own dope.
