>>507227>pretty good comms suite in it.I thought so as well.
I am not sure what to do with the space since I dont need another 4 batteries. I might put a small fridge in it or something.
>>507441I was thinking to put on the turbo to really give it guts if it gets bogged down. but also come in handy when towing.
Its got a bit of power in it, and can tow a trailer or a caravan all day (it does have a small truck's engine in it after all) but it is awful at accelerating generally. One of the problems it has is that it is only 4 speed manual, so its "looking" for another when driving it down the highway.

>dat jeep That is a gorgeous rig.
>>510808They vary, though I wouldn't trust the readings.
Some say 7,000k's others are shy over 10,000.
But that said the army constantly changes parts of it some of the service records I've read were impeccable. They'd replace entire parts even if they problem was generally something minor in civilian driving.
Then again, you'll never know when you'll get a shit one either, occasionally you'll find one with a bent chassis (that would sell well for spare parts) but someone buys it without inspecting it first.
>>509432Heey mate!
There are other nice rigs here, but yeah land rovers are a bit of a rough gem.
Though you can get some nice 4wd's in the market, you've got to put a ton of cash to get the equipment the perentie already has.
Plus the rover has a very unique feel to it, you can say that it's just bare bones and that's mostly true.
But it doesn't feel right to let it sit in a garage, you gotta take it out places.
Is yours a short base?
