I live in Northern VA where lymes is a HUGE problem, we've got one of the highest infection rates in the country. I've met tons of folks with severe lymes that suffer from joint pain and the the lot, but are still very active and fulfilling people. On the flip side, there are other people who are willing to use it as an excuse for EVERYTHING, from work to going out to play for a bit, to doing things they don't want to be bothered with. "My lymes is acting up" "I'm too tired and my bones hurt". Again, some folks are justified, others are pathetic about it.
