The first time I ever went camping I went with a friend. Her family went camping maybe once or twice a year. I was super excited. We drove up to Flagstaff from Mesa, AZ. She pulls us into an KOA camp ground. I was like wtf? It was all RV's, and there was a pool. I said no, we found the park rangers office. They directed us to some pay place by Sunset Crater. It was nice. Most people used it as a base camp to then hike the mountain. The park ranger told us it was illegal to camp on National Parks. I knew no better, and believed her. It was kinda weird she didn't tell us about all the BLM land around.
Fucking KOA camp. What the fuck?
