>>512722Ill use rain jackets as an example.
We sell one called the Aquanator, its by far the cheapest price wise. It has the "Storm Shield Waterproof Breathable Membrane". The jacket is a 1.5-ply, shaped garbage bag with a shitty face fabric. If plan on doing anything other than smoke a cigarette on a cold rainy day on your porch, you going to drown in your own sweat inside this thing.
Spend $40 more and you can get Patagonia's H2No Waterproof breathable liner in their Torrentshell Jacket, which still isn't awesome but at least you can actually do shit without feeling like its raining inside your jacket. Gore-Tex shit lasts longer and is great, but its expensive and unless your fat as fuck or going to be working at max heart rate, its a lot of extra breatability you don't need.
also patagonia shit is generally way over priced but that jacket is actually pretty decent.
>>512723 if we are thinking about the same canvas-y top loader bags that i think we are, then... sometimes? we rolled out a few of them like 6 years ago because we were getting a shitload of pressure from customers who wanted the old vintage mec style, but no one really bought them, so we stopped making them again. there might be a vintage one coming down the pipe again for an anniversary, but i dont really know.
