They are not top top tier, but then I never have seen the sense of buying the best shoes since they only last that long (800km?), but I guess that depends on how much you hike.
They are good though and sturdy. feels comfy and light weight enough.

So I wouldn't recommend them if you're going for long hikes in the desert 35-40C degrees but for anything less they're great.
Of course if you're comparing to boots then they are worlds apart in terms of heat, But that's expected.
