While it can be destructive when used by tourists, rednecks, and other inconsiderate faggots, 4wheeling is totally fine as long as riders follow laws/ regulations and use land responsibly.
Take Dixie National Forest in Utah for example. There's pristine wilderness where people get to go 4wheeling, but they stay on a network of well maintained trails and don't go running over all the precious wildlife.
