How exactly should my Mora look like? If I don't let the blade corrode and I keep it clean and oiled between uses it will be stay the same for another 5 years.
You can use an axe or baton a knife for 20 hours and unless you make a mistake or handle your tool carelessly, once you clean it, nothing tells that tool has been used at all.

I've had an aluminium flashlight I've used every winter night for 2 winters (I have a dog) and it shows no signs of wear, except 2 minor dents. Some flashlights you see on Youtube look like they survived Hiroshima after being drilled through Sahara desert. I don't know what you guys do with your gear, but it's wrong and stupid.
