>>518686Use a micro-fleece material instead of cotton. I found some very thin micro-fleece 10x10 blanketson sale 2 for 10$. I sewed on a strip of silk with the largest gauge nylon zipper i could find. Folding them in half i can zip the bottom and the side of the bags. But i can also zip them together. Usually, I use one for a sleeping bag with my down sleeping bag over me unzipped like a blanket. But if it's really cold it's a bag liner, and if it's hot I just use the fleece as my only cover. But note: when backpacking, i lway sleep wearing long underwear.
