Wildlife wise, you should be fine. Blouse your boots and don't go provoking shit, use gear that will stop spiders/snakes getting into your bed. Stay away from wild roos as they will kick your shit. If you see a snake DO NOT go near it, give it a wide berth and leave it the fuck alone because it's pretty much guaranteed to be deadly.
>Should I bring a gun?Fun is 100% against the rules in Australia and incurs an on-the-spot fine. Guns, being an extension of fun, are therefore HEAVILY banned. You won't get to play with guns in Australia unless you know somebody. And even then it's still illegal.
