Has anyone ever lived the modern hobo life?
Hitchhiking, busking, wilderness camping, trainhopping, spanging?
Living out of a backpack?
What is/was it like? Is it as bad as people who haven't lived the lifestyle claim it to be? Would/will you do it again?

To those that haven't, what are your thoughts on the idea of a modern tramp/hobo/vagabond and the fact that there's a sizable community of them? Would you ever consider doing it yourself?
