My favorite spot is Kinsman Pond. Park at The Basin exit off 93, blue blaze two and a half miles next to the beautiful Cascades to Lonesome Lake Hut, connect with the AT on Fishin Jimmy for a challenging and fun as fuck scramble up two and a half more miles.
The campsite at Kinsman is on a secluded pond. Still early for both nobos and sobos to be there, so you will have a lot of privacy. Two miles to Kinsman North and South summits for gorgeous sweeping views of the whites and Franconia Ridge.
Make sure you have water treatment and I strongly recommend a filter as opposed to drops because the water is super mucky.
