me buy the vidda pro one day ago.
It fits perfect on the waist, But its too long. The pads are almost under my knees, if I actually kneel they are still a bit too high but do cover my knees.
They are even lower then in the picture...
Also the greenland jacket seems to be on the big side for me, the sleeves kinda cover my hands (which I think is good actually), yet the sides are a bit too big, I am not sure wether this is good becasue they can trap more air and allow thicker base layers.
They do feel comfy, Yet I wouldnt be able to wear them under a jeans it would look horrible...
I want to use them for outdoor survival shit, for hiking, and for backpacking/hitching....
Hiking and hitching/backpacking wont work this way because they simple look way to big (I dont care myself but it would be weird).
Also survival in a warm place with small baselayer would be kinda weird.... like wearing your dads shirt..
The vidda pro is even "lower" then the guy wearing in the pic...
worst of all they dont have smaller sizes, I also have a feel fjallraven is going the same way as north face with making expensive nonfunctional shit for yups. Yet I want something durable, goretex looks way too easy to rip imho.
should I just stick with the oversized fjallraven that I wouldnt really use that much after all?
