I have no idea. This is why I use a hammy with a bugnet. Either strung-up or in bivvymode my 'muck doesn't allow for pesticles to crawl around on me or lay eggs in my skull while I sleep.

i try to camp only when its cold enough that bugs wont be out, when they are out i wear a headnet.

In my last outing I used the pair of boxers I was going to wear the next day as a face mask and it worked quite well. I was in the Seward Range and the mosquitos were quite pervasive.

I put some pantyhose over my head. Buy the kind that comes in the little plastic containers. Helps with keeping them organized. It's a bit uncomfortable at first but eventually you don't notice them. I snore when I sleep and the pantyhose doesn't affect my breathing.
