doing little to no physical exercise on the trip, like a trip to the cottage would be for some chilling having a bbq and getting drunk
i personally find using a tent glamping but theres some damn fine expensive lightweight ones out these days
i go glamping all the time but most people wouldnt call it that, its bicycle touring, but it is pretty glampy. i get to carry all sorts of luxuries backpackers would scoff at, and i get drunk about just as much as a cottage goer would. the only difference between us being i bike maybe 60km or less on the days i party while bicycle touring.

but most people only consider glamping to be yuppie car camping.
