I only browse /out/; most people here are helpful and willing to improve (except for the spillover from /b/ at times)
I was upset as a fly fisherman because I have only met people open to conversation as a fisherman. I am not exclusive to fly fishing, rather I am exclusive to whatever works best for the water I am fishing (IE catfish are best fished with chicken liver/spin rod, so I would rather use that over fly)
If I went around thinking because someone uses live bait that they are assholes, I would be very isolated very fast, same for fly fishing, same for bow fishing
