Yesterday, I was planning on backpacking by myself to this nice spot on a lake that I go to every summer. I got back there, set up camp, and cooked dinner. Then, it started to get cold, so I went to put on my pants and longjohns, and I realized that I forgot my clothes bag. I ended up packing up all my shit and hiking back down the trail because I didn't want to freeze my ass off. There's a car campground not to far from the trailhead that my parents stay at sometimes while I hike back in solo, so I ended up going there and sleeping in their camper van. It was still an ok trip because I had fun for the short time that I was at the lake, but I was pretty pissed initially when I discovered I had forgotten my clothes bag. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to go back in the next few weeks.
