Yeah I have some of those, too.
This is a free solution though.
And even if you don't have access to waterproof matches, you can make standard ones waterproof.

Plus, the Coleman matches only burn for a few seconds like a regular match.

It's still good to post a notice in there.
A lot of people don't realize that burns can happen with lower temperatures like that.
I didn't before I made the video.

I've done this before. it doesn't work as well as you'd hope. what I'd suggest is getting some string and dipping in wax then put that in the matchbox.

The guy I credited in the video tried string as a wick and it just burned up quickly. Wood takes longer to burn. Besides, the matches will ignite themselves whereas a string requires a separate ignition source.

It all depends on what kind of string and how much wax. I guess these are be3tter for the sake of being able to ignite themselves.

well all I can say is I didn't consider the wax match to be very impressive so I just made string and wax candles that I use in tandem. They seemed to hold more wax and burn longer as a result. The wood in the match didn't absorb much wax was my issue.
