It's a high Sierra sentinel 65. Got it because it was on sale for like $65. Honestly it's a pretty good pack so far, I've only done about 20 miles with it but I like it.

Was going to get a different pack but for $65 I couldn't pass this up.

The AG version of the pack came out a few weeks ago with vastly improved suspension for the same price.

The osprey exos 58 has the AG system, costs $170us, and is 1-.5lb lighter depending on size.

The rei flash 48, which was about $80us on sale last week, is a clone of the exos.

For a bit more money you could have bought a custom fitted pack from a boutique like ULA, ZPacks, or HMG.

Should have done your research first.

I work at an outfitter that regularly sees AT traffic and every thru hiker that's come in with an AG has hated it for one reason or another. One lady said she got one for free from an Osprey rep by trading her old pack for it. By the time she got our store (which is only a couple hundred miles in if they're northbound) she said she'd GIVE the AG away if she could get a pack like her old one.

But seriously, looks like a solid pack, TNF isn't the worst brand out there. 65 litres is enough for almost any usecase and it's not to shabby looking either. If it fits you have a keeper.

depends on what you want to do with it. it's on the very heavy side as a 65L backpacking bag, but TNF gear is usually quite durable.

I prefer to use a bag that is well fitted to my body, so that I don't need to carry the extra weight of an adjustable harness that I'll adjust once and never change again. but then, I am a fully grown person with fairly stable build. your requirements may be different.
