There are tricks for low water situations, but a lot will be lost to evaporation/heat.
Shading with things like straw ontop of your soil to keep roots out of the sun can help significantly, thats what natives did down in arizona.
Fires you cant do shit about, ive had to stop burning my garbage early this year due to fire season, you just DONT fuck around with it.

As for power, ive had my blunders.
but the most I run at once is 200 watts (give or take) becuase I sold all high draw appliances and replaced them before moving (goodbye gaming pc build ;£;)
But x-one uses 150 max, tv is an LCD I got like 5 years ago at sears, that's 55 watts.
at 13.- voltage on two 6 volt batteries I can run 7-8 hours easy.
My lighting is flashlights (one solar two battery) and an oil lamp.
I try to stay away from electric lighting for power reasons.
propane fridge and stove can help too, I have a propane campstove and a rocketstove I built for backup

I found an evap cooler sitting in an old ford truck on our property though, its old, but its possible I could get it working.
