I doubt anyone from /out/ has purchased this thing, and I hope they haven't. Any plastic/fiberglass and especially hollowed axe handle will break sooner or later, and this particular one has a head that would have to be completely replaced or repurchased from the manufacturer since it has no eye where you can implement your own handle.

Invest in a classic hickory handled high quality hatchet and spend the rest of your life with it and pass it on to your children.

it always has been
the faggy "e" at the end is some euro shit, but is most likely from the axe line of mens personal care products, which changed peoples spelling of the regular word "ax" because the masses are idiots

I have the Fiskars X7 and I actually like the light weight and awesome edge and chopping abilities. Maybe if my X7 breaks, I will spend a little time and figure out a way to attach some sort of handle......better than listening to fags who think hickory handles are the only kind of ax you should buy.

i can speak of the axe or hatchet. They're pretty good axes with a fantastic edge. The weak point is the handle because there is no replacing that when it breaks to my knowledge although I think you could figure out a way if you really set your mind to it. The saw I've just heard views on it so it's second hand, but I've never heard very positive things.

the axe commercials were alo revolutionary at the time which had an even greater impact on people

its also very easy to confuse the spelling of the two words on their own, as it is
so all this litterally changed the spelling of the word

I have the exact item. Bash me if you want but I love it. I use the hand saw too from time to time. I've had it for 8 years, it's been through hell and it goes on every camping and backpacking trip. The grip on it is great. Pair that with a glove that has rubber grip and the hatchet might as well be an extension of your arm. You'd have to do something intentional to break the handle like the fiskars pic we've all seen. A full power, everything you have, severe over-swing would probably break it. But that would break a wooden handle too. And I know about the handle replacement argument and it is valid. If you're going to be wielding a hatchet in such a reckless dumbfucking stupid way that it breaks mid-handle then you deserve it. I'm not shilling for the gerber hatchet, I'm just giving my take on it from experience. It works for me and I like it.

Best handles ever. Great vibration reduction, damned near indestructible.
The fiskars heads are amazing steel.
I cut trees for a living; i split a lot of dammed firewood with the mauls and used the small axe for cutting roots when i was grinding out stumps.
I swear to you, they are good tools.
