>>56091>>56339I have the Goretex bivy and the green patrol bag and I love it. They both pack down really small and they're fairly warm. I didn't wanna bother with the whole system so I only took the green bag, I kinda wish I went the the black bag for a little more versatility but even with just the green bag I would feel comfortable in 50 degree weather. They say the Goretex is only water resistant but that shit is water proof, you could go swimming in that thing and come out dry.
The thing I don't like about the bivy is that there isn't any structure to keep it off your face while sleeping . I sleep on my side so it doesn't bother me but you could probably figure out some kind of mod for it. It also doesn't seal up all the way, there's only a small patch of velcro at the head to close the bag so bugs might be a problem.
For the price it just can't be beat.
