/out/, recommend me a jacket.
I'm going on a Duke Of Edinburgh expedition to Snowdonia in a couple of weeks. I have limited experience with hikes/trips of this sort - I've been on a good few with the army cadets and OTC. Because of this though, my knowledge of outdoor jackets is limited, as I've only worn issued combat jackets on these trips. The criteria for the coat:
>lightweight
>warm
>waterproof outer layer
>low cost - my absolute ceiling price is £250
At the moment, I'm looking at this:

Is this what I'm looking for? I've also been considering the cheaper jackets from Haglofs and Arcteryx. If needs be, I'd be willing to pay for a more expensive jacket that isn't 100% waterproof and then stick a poncho over the top.
