fly to Reykjavik (or wherever the cheapest flight goes to), go to Akureyri or Hraunhafnartangi (depending on how much time we have) by bus and walk south.
Passing by:
Herðubreið
Trölladyngja
going south between the ice shelfs
following Landmannalaugar
and meeting the coast between the two volcanoes
Then back to the airport
4 to 6 weeks.
First part is gonna be a bit problematic because it's mostly desert, so we have to follow rivers, and carry a shitload of food. Once we reach the first huts, we can get food packages we sent there beforehand.
